The Big Drop: Take a Walk for Transit

The Big Drop: Take a Walk for Transit

May 1st-3rd, the Rogue Valley Transit Now campaign invites you to step up—literally. We're aiming to reach over 10,000 voters in a single weekend, and you can help make it happen!

As a reminder to vote to keep and strengthen our local bus service, we'll be walking, biking, and rolling throughout the Rogue Valley and dropping postcards at the doors. This is the same weekend that ballots begin arriving in mailboxes, so we'll be reaching voters right as they're finalizing their decisions and sending back their ballots.

This isn't a traditional canvass: we won't be knocking and talking to community members, as we have been this last month. Instead, it's just one simple, quiet (but big!) push to let our neighbors know how important it is to vote YES for 15-240 and local bus service, by leaving a little campaign lit for them.

If you've been nervous about outreach but excited about supporting bus service, this is your chance! Really, what could be simpler than a stroll through your neighborhood?

All you have to do to participate is 1) sign up; 2) pick up your lit; and 3) take a walk for transit, and drop postcards near where you live! You can do this all solo, but if you're interested in walking with a group, let us know and we'll pair you up.

So sign up now, and take a walk for transit this May!
