Get Involved
Sign up to volunteer! It will take all of us to renew the levy and support our local bus system. Whether you like talking to your neighbors or other people on the bus, passing out lawn signs, or connecting with others who care about our local bus system, there is a place for you.
We always start volunteer shifts with a training, so no experience is necessary. You can also sign up directly to join an event or volunteer shift below. Email (RVTNCampaign@gmail.com) or call (541)-840-1065 if you have any trouble signing up.
Volunteer Orientation & Campaign Updates
Every Wednesday, join a quick volunteer orientation and campaign update. These online sessions are a quick way to get plugged into the campaign, meet other people, and sign up to volunteer!
Join a Phonebank: Wednesdays
Join a virtual phonebank to have conversations with your friends, family, and other voters about the importance of RVTD’s busses and van service and to let them know to vote YES on measure 15-240.
Join a Community Outreach Event
Talk to people about the importance of our local bus system and the renewal of the levy at community events like Pear Blossom, El Mercadito, Friday Art Walks, growers markets and more! Find a shift that works for your schedule.
The Big Drop: Take a Walk for Transit
May 1st-3rd, the Rogue Valley Transit Now campaign invites you to step up—literally. We're aiming to reach over 10,000 voters in a single weekend, and you can help make it happen!
As a reminder to vote to keep and strengthen our local bus service, we'll be walking, biking, and rolling throughout the Rogue Valley and dropping postcards at the doors. This is the same weekend that ballots begin arriving in mailboxes, so we'll be reaching voters right as they're finalizing their decisions and sending back their ballots.
Join a Canvass: Tuesdays and Sundays
Sign up to join a neighborhood canvass to talk to your neighbors about the RVTD levy. We will be doing group canvasses most Sundays and Tuesdays, and you can also request a list to do at your own convenience in your own neighborhood.
Volunteer Kickoff
Come get trained on how to answer questions about the levy, learn canvassing and outreach skills, get creative making signs and buttons, and enjoy snacks and the chance to meet other volunteers.
