The Big Drop: Take a Walk for Transit

May 1st-3rd, the Rogue Valley Transit Now campaign invites you to step up—literally. We're aiming to reach over 10,000 voters in a single weekend, and you can help make it happen!

As a reminder to vote, we'll be walking, biking, and rolling throughout the Rogue Valley and dropping postcards at the doors. This is the same weekend that ballots begin arriving in mailboxes, so we'll be reaching voters right as they're finalizing their decisions and sending back their ballots. So sign up now, and take a walk for transit this May!

Why support?

Public Transit in the Rogue Valley is more than a bus ride, it’s a lifeline that connects people to jobs, schools, medical care, and daily essentials. It supports local businesses by helping employees get to work and customers get to shops, while reducing traffic.

For seniors, students, people with disabilities, and working families, transit provides independence, affordability, and opportunity. When we support public transit, we’re investing in a stronger economy, a more connected community, and a future where everyone in the Rogue Valley can move forward together.

This May, Jackson County voters have the chance to renew the existing levy that provides local funding to the Rogue Valley Transportation District for five more years. Voters overwhelmingly approved this levy in 2016 and 2021. Renewing the levy will help maintain current routes for five more years and may also bring back Saturday service or other routes based on passenger and community input.

That’s why Jackson County residents are voting YES on Measure 15-240.
